The suggestions for the instructional calendar for 2022–2023 were adopted by the Cypress–Fairbanks ISD Board of Trustees during its regularly scheduled meeting on January 13, 2022.
The Cypress-Fairbanks ISD calendar includes an 11-day winter vacation for students (December 19, 2022 – January 2, 2023), a five-day spring break schedule, five teacher work days/school closure make-up days that are also student holidays, and inclement weather makeup days (March 13 to March 17, 2023).

- Professional Days are from August 8 to August 19, 2022.
- The First Day of School for CFISD is August 22, 2022.
- Labor day holiday is September 5, 2022. It is a student and Staff Holiday.
- Teacher Work Day/School Closure Make-up Day (Student Holiday) is September 26, 2022.

8,868 seniors from the Class of 2022 graduated during the 12 Cypress-Fairbanks ISD graduation 2022 ceremonies held at the Berry Center from May 24-28.
199 seniors who are graduating with an associate's degree from Lone Star College-CyFair are among the 8,868 seniors who will graduate this year. Five graduates will be attending elite Ivy League colleges and universities.
Cypress Creek
In addition to earning their high school diplomas, approximately 199 CFISD seniors from Cypress Lakes, Cypress Park, Cypress Ridge, Cypress Woods, and Langham Creek high schools also graduated with their associate degrees from Lone Star College—CyFair through the CFISD College Academy.
More than 62,000 guests attended the Class of 2022 commencement exercises, while 51,906 others watched the graduation ceremonies through the CFISD Livestream account.
