An open-source learning management system called UNSW Moodle is used to provide both blended and online courses at UNSW.


How to log into unsw moodle

  1. Visit moodle.telt.unsw.edu.au to access the Moodle Login/Web Single Sign-On page.
  2. Are you logging into programmes like UNSW AGSM Executive Education, UNSW Institute of Languages, and UNSW Mining Engineering Specialist Courses that use the Australian Access Federation (AAF) to provide their courses?
  • If so, go to the Need an alternative login to Moodle? area lower on the login page and click the relevant alternative login link.
  • If not, move on to the following action.

  • Select "I accept" to proceed to Moodle.
  1. To complete the login, enter your zID (followed by @ad.unusw.edu.au) and password just as you would when accessing UNSW email outlook.

  1. Your courses are displayed are under Course Overview. Click the name of the course to view the course home page.
  2. Search for a course by navigating to Site Home and using the search tool.
  3. To log out, click Log out at the drop-down menu under your name.


What to do if your login fails

  1. It's possible that you entered your User ID or Password incorrectly.
  2. Make sure you insert a "z" before your student number in the USER ID area.
  3. Case matters in your PASSWORD (also known as your zPass). Verify that Caps Lock is off on your keyboard.
  4. You might not be taking the online course right now.
  5. If you haven't paid your course costs by the Census Date, you risk being denied entry. In myUNSW, check the status of your fees. It may take up to 4 days for service to be restored after you pay your costs.
  6. Your online access might not yet be updated if you recently changed your course enrollment. Give this two working days to complete.




What does myaccess unsw mean?


You can now virtually access your applications that were previously only available in the teaching laboratories thanks to myAccess.


This implies that you can access them whenever and wherever there is an internet connection. Among the programmes already in use are AutoCAD, Matlab, Maple, and Ansys.
