Alikiba, whose real name is Ali Saleh Kiba, is a Tanzanian singer, songwriter, and actor. He was born on November 26, 1986, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Alikiba is known for his unique blend of African and Western music styles, particularly in the genres of Bongo Flava, R&B, and Afro-Pop.
He started his music career in 2007 with his debut album "Cinderella", which was a huge success in Tanzania and East Africa. Alikiba has since released several other hit albums, including "Dushelele", "Ali k 4 Real", and "Mwana". He has also won several awards for his music, including multiple Tanzania Music Awards, MTV Africa Music Awards, and the Kilimanjaro Music Award for Best Male Artist.
In addition to his music career, Alikiba has also ventured into acting, appearing in several Tanzanian films and television series. He is also a philanthropist, and has used his success to give back to his community through various charitable organizations and initiatives
