The FIFA Fan World Cup will be played alongside the FIFA World CupTM for the first time, right there at the FIFA Fan Festival.The FIFA Fan World Cup will follow the World Cup's schedule of games, with Fan World Cup teams playing World Cup matches one day early. Five fans and one FIFA Legend will make up each squad, and they will play five-a-side games.
Important information:
- The competition will run from 19 November to 17 December 2022 inclusive.
- Each squad must have a minimum of six players. The players who register to participate in the competition will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Each squad will be supported by one FIFA Legend from that country.
- All players must be at least 18 years of age.
- All players must have travel and accommodation arranged for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ during the period of the tournament.
- All players must be nationals or residents of the country that they wish to represent.
