In 1987, the Malawi Certificate Examinations and Testing Board (MCE&TB) and the Examinations Section of the Ministry of Education and Culture merged to form the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB). MANEB Standard 8 Pass List 2022 Results PDF.

This is in response to concerns raised by parents, guardians, teachers, and other stakeholders regarding the delay in the results' publication. Hon. Chang'anamuno claims that MANEB has taken the necessary steps to guarantee that the examination procedure was carried out efficiently and appropriately.

The results would be released in accordance with the Ministry's efforts to establish accountability and transparency in its operations, the Deputy Minister further informed.

According to the most recent official announcement from Malawi's Ministry of Education, exam results would be made available to the public on October 10, 2022, just before the start of the new academic year. MANEB Standard 8 Results 2022 Pass List Press Release

The Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education Examination (PSLCE) results for 2022 have been issued by the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANED) and the Ministry of Education.

A candidate must pass five topics, including English, in order to pass the Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education Examination.

216,664 of the 260,295 applicants who took the test have been successful. This indicates a pass rate of 83.24%.

102,623 of the 131,012 female candidates who took the test have passed. This indicates a pass rate of 78.33%.

114,041 of the 129,283 male candidates who took the test have passed. This indicates a pass rate of 88.21%.

2,672 of the 3,668 Special Needs (SNE) Education test takers who registered for the exam have passed.

Out of the 1,899 SNE female candidates who sat for this examination, 1,327 have passed. This represents 69.88% pass rate.

The top ten (10) performing districts in descending order are: Zomba Urban (95.98%), NkhataBay (93.88%), Likoma (93.00%), Mzuzu City (92.64%), Phalombe (92.44%), Zomba Rural (91.72%), Mulanje (91.08%), Rumphi (90.72%), Thyolo (89.14%) and Mchinji (85.91%).

The bottom ten (10) performing districts, in ascending order, are: Mwanza (70.21%), Nsanje (70.59%), Neno (75.56%), Ntcheu (75.56%), Chikwawa (76.85%), Nkhotakota (79.04%), Blantyre Rural (79.59%), Ntchisi (79.62%), Mangochi (79.71%), Machinga (80.02%).

All candidates are informed that their results will be available at the centres where they registered for the examination.

All candidates wishing to query their results should do so in writing through their heads of school where they registered for the examination.

All queries should reach MANEB by November 4, 2022. After this date, no further queries will be entertained.

MANEB will not consider any query about the results made directly to the Board by candidates or any other individual.

MI students who have been selected to start Form 1 are requested to report to the secondary school they have been selected to by Monday 10th October 2022.

How to check Malawi MSCE Results 2022 online is the current issue. You can access the MSCE results list by district using MANEB's official website (www.maneb.edu.mw). Follow the guidelines below to get the results.

The registration and payment system, which was based on Microsoft Excel and has been in use for the previous ten years, proved to be labor- and time-intensive. The excel sheets were occasionally altered by schools, which resulted in several inaccuracies. This year, 2022, the newly introduced e-registration and e-payment system has been used to register candidates for the Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE), Junior Certificate Examination (JCE), and Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examinations in 19 education districts located in the Northern Education Division (NED), Central West Education Division, and Zomba Urban and Rural Education districts (SEED).

With the aid of a school representative, a candidate must use the web-based e-registration system to sign up for the exam at an examination center that has been approved by MANEB. After a candidate registers, the system generates an invoice with a special number.

The invoice includes the candidate's information, the courses they desire to take, and the total examination fee they must pay. The candidate now has the opportunity to make any necessary changes before completing the registration procedure.

After the applicant has confirmed the accuracy of the information, the applicant is given an invoice number, which is used to pay the examination fee using a mobile phone through the National Bank Mo626, TNM Mpamba, or NBS EazyWapp, EazyApp, EazyWallet, EazyMobile322 and NBS Bank Pafupi e-payment platforms by the applicant or their parent/guardian.

The efficiency of MANEB will be improved in a number of ways by the electronic systems. Real-time candidate data recording on MANEB's servers makes it simple to retrieve the data for planning reasons. The technology also provides candidates with the opportunity to check their information and make changes, improving the accuracy of the data collected by schools.

Incorrect name spellings on exam results and MANEB certificates shall be resolved by the candidates themselves verifying their own information.
